Technische RFQ-Feldnamen in den Vorlagen bleiben Englisch — Standard im grenzüberschreitenden Einkauf.
Distributors, EPC buyers, and storage integrators often search “rack-mount ESS” or “51.2V server-rack battery” and land on a product page before the selection questions are answered. This buying guide is the procurement shortlist method: pick the form factor, confirm the 48V / 51.2V platform, decide parallel LV vs series HV, list BMS/comms and document gates, then send one tagged RFQ. It does not invent MOQ, list price, lead time, or certification marks — those belong on the quote for your configuration.

1. Zuerst den Formfaktor wählen
Most failed rack RFQs mix three different products under one “ESS battery” ask. Orient from live LJY pages — confirm inverter, rack depth, and project kWh on the quote:
| Form factor | When it usually fits | Live LJY entry | RFQ tag |
|---|---|---|---|
| 19" / server-rack LV module (51.2V class) | Cabinet or open rack, parallel modules for ~5–16 kWh class strings | 51.2V rack-mount LiFePO4 · rack series hub | 51.2V-100Ah-Rack / 51V-Rack |
| Larger LV rack module (e.g. 200Ah class) | Fewer modules for the same kWh; still parallel LV | 48V / 51.2V 200Ah rack-mount | 48V-200Ah-RackMount |
| Wall-mount / powerwall-style | Residential wall install; not a 19" rail | Listed on home-ESS / series hubs (contrast only) | 51V-100Ah-WallMount (if wall is the real ask) |
| LV stackable home tower | Floor-standing modular home storage; parallel LV stack | Stackable LiFePO4 home ESS | Stackable-Home-Storage |
| HV series stack (204.8V+ class) | Inverters that expect high-voltage battery strings | HV stackable 51.2V 100Ah modules | LJY-HV51100-STACK |
| C&I HV rack cluster | Commercial / industrial cabinet clusters | HV rack battery cluster (C&I) | LJY-HV51100-STACK / ESS-Storage-RFQ |
If the tender only says “rack battery,” photograph the intended cabinet / rail and name the inverter — do not guess LV parallel vs HV series from a brochure thumbnail.
2. Die 48V-/51,2V-Plattform bestätigen
- In storage, “48V rack” almost always means a 51.2V nominal (16S LiFePO4) module class — not −48V telecom DC plants and not every golf-cart pack.
- Write the inverter’s expected battery nominal / max charge window on the RFQ.
- State whether the inverter brand needs a named battery protocol (CAN / RS485 / closed list).
- Background: 48V vs 51.2V vs −48V explained. Comms deep-dive (existing guide — do not treat as a cert claim): 51.2V inverter communication guide.
3. Paralleles LV vs. serielles HV-Stacking
- Parallel LV racks — keep ~51.2V bus; grow kWh by paralleling modules inside a cabinet (typical 19" ESS rack path).
- Series HV stacks — series-connect modules toward 204.8V+ class strings for HV hybrid / C&I inverters (HV stack module page).
- LV stackable home towers — different mechanical stack; see stackable home ESS and its buying guide — do not RFQ them as 19" rails.
Parallel limits, series count, and continuous/peak current are configuration-specific — mark TBD if unknown; confirm on the engineered quotation.
4. BMS, Kommunikation und Dokumenten-Gate
- Inverter brand + model + firmware band (if known)
- Required talk: closed protocol list vs open CAN/RS485
- Cabinet depth / U-height / cable exit constraints
- Destination country and transport mode (affects which documents the quote must list)
- Buyer tender checklist: which files your gate requires for this SKU (cell / pack / transport) — ask the supplier to list what exists; do not treat a marketing “full cert wall” as proof

7. Was diese Seite nicht behauptet
Ah continuous/peak ratings, cycle-life marketing numbers, IP, weight, MOQ, list price, lead time, and certification marks are confirmed on the quote or verified datasheet for that configuration. Series and product pages may show capacity classes for orientation — treat them as starting points until inverter, stack topology, and destination docs are checked.
FAQ
Is this the same as the 48V ESS supplier selection guide?
No. That guide focuses on shortlisting a supplier (scorecard + documents). This guide focuses on choosing the rack / stack form factor and the matching RFQ tag before you ask for price.
Can I RFQ HV stack and 19" LV rack on one form?
Prefer one primary tag that matches the inverter voltage class; mention the alternate in the message body so engineering does not quote the wrong topology.
Do you publish standard rack MOQ or FOB here?
No. Commercial terms follow form factor, kWh, protocol, and destination after the RFQ fields above are clear.
