Floor-standing home energy storage that grows module by module — stack 5.12kWh LiFePO4 units to build the capacity the house actually needs, and add more later.
Product Overview
Stackable storage solves the two limits of fixed home batteries: a wall-mounted unit has a capacity ceiling and needs a wall that can carry it, while a rack system belongs in a utility room. A stackable system stands on the floor — garage, basement, or plant room — and its capacity is set by how many modules you stack, not by a single enclosure.
The building block is the 51.2V 100Ah module class (5.12kWh per module) used across our wall-mounted and rack-mount ranges. In a stackable build, identical modules are stacked with a base and a top control unit, so the same module logic your installer already knows from our other 51.2V products applies here.
- Capacity by stacking — start with 2–3 modules, expand when the household grows
- No wall loading — floor-standing, suits garages and utility spaces
- One module class — identical 5.12kWh modules keep spares and expansion simple
- Whole-home backup ready — 10–30kWh class systems for solar self-consumption and outage cover
Sizing a Stack (5.12kWh Module Class)
| Modules | Nominal energy | Typical fit |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | 10.24kWh | Solar self-consumption for an average home; overnight essentials |
| 3 | 15.36kWh | Larger homes; evening peak coverage plus backup reserve |
| 4 | 20.48kWh | Whole-home backup for most loads; EV charging contribution |
| 6 | 30.72kWh | Off-grid-leaning homes, small commercial backup, farm buildings |
Module counts and totals above use the 5.12kWh (51.2V 100Ah) module class. The final module specification, stack configuration, and inverter pairing for your project are confirmed in the formal quotation.
Installation Notes for Installers
- Floor and access: a level, load-bearing floor with working clearance in front of the stack; no wall fixing or lifting equipment needed for the modules themselves.
- Expansion discipline: expansion works best with identical modules of the same specification. If a system will grow later, tell us at the first order so the configuration leaves that path open.
- Inverter pairing: the stack is paired with a compatible hybrid inverter sized to the home’s peak load. Communication configuration between the battery system and the inverter is confirmed per project before ordering — send us the inverter model.
- Environment: indoor installation in a dry, ventilated space, away from living areas, following local electrical code for energy storage systems.
Wholesale, OEM & ODM
We supply stackable storage configurations to solar installers, home-storage distributors, and energy retailers building a residential storage line. Module specification, branding, and packaging are customizable per project. Distributors can also source this family through our Wholesale & Distributor Program. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add modules later?
Yes — that is the point of the format. Add identical modules of the same specification to grow capacity. Plan for it at the first order: tell us the likely final capacity so the base configuration and inverter sizing leave room to expand.
Stackable, wall-mounted, or rack — which should I choose?
Wall-mounted suits a single 5–10kWh unit on a strong wall. Rack-mount suits utility rooms and larger commercial banks. Stackable suits homes that want 10kWh or more without wall loading, and households that expect to expand. Many distributors carry stackable as the main residential line for exactly that reason.
What inverter does it work with?
The battery system is paired with a hybrid inverter matched to the home’s loads. Compatibility and the communication setup are confirmed per project — send us the inverter model you plan to use and we will confirm the configuration before you order.
Where does it sit in the home?
Typically a garage, basement, or utility room on a level floor. It is an indoor system; siting must follow local electrical and fire codes for residential energy storage.
Where This Battery Is Used
Stackable storage is the expandable core of our Home Energy Storage Solutions and pairs with rooftop solar in our Solar Energy Storage designs. Send us your daily consumption, inverter model, and target backup loads for a stack sizing check.
