Primary cells wholesale RFQ path: for pack-maker procurement (matching, documents, volume band), use LiFePO4 battery cells wholesale and the OEM/ODM RFQ checklist. This page remains a supporting brief on 280Ah/314Ah prismatic classes — cell brand, grade definition and availability are confirmed per quotation only.

Every battery in our pack series starts as a prismatic cell — and the cell is where quality is decided. LJY Energy’s standard cell series covers the two generations that matter: the field-proven 280Ah class (EVE LF280K and equivalents) and the current 314Ah-class ESS prismatic generation (exact cell brand and lot confirmed per quotation — not a standing CATL or other brand inventory claim). We supply cells with QR traceability and voltage/IR matching for pack builders, integrators, and distributors building their own brands; grade and batch documents are confirmed per order. This series page maps the cell lineup, the Grade A verification discipline, and wholesale sourcing.
Series at a Glance: the Two Cell Generations
| Generation | Representative models | Nominal energy (per cell) | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 280Ah class | EVE LF280K; REPT CB56; CALB L173F280; Hithium HC280 | 896Wh (3.2V × 280Ah) | Field-proven, maximum supply certainty |
| 314Ah class | EVE MB31; REPT CB75; CALB L173F314A; Gotion 314Ah; Hithium HC-314AH | 1004.8Wh (3.2V × 314Ah) | Current ESS standard |
Cell grade verification: documents to confirm per order
Every cell order ships with: manufacturer QR code traceability, voltage and internal-resistance test records for the specific shipment, and a specification sheet matching the exact model shipped. No substitutions without buyer approval. For the documents to check on each order (UN 38.3 test summary elements, UN3480 marking and grade evidence), see our prismatic cell sourcing and verification checklist.
Who Buys Cells (Not Packs)
Pack builders & assemblers
What they need: matched, documented cells in volume — voltage/IR sorted, batch-traceable. The qualification order is small; the repeat orders are the business.
System integrators (C&I / telecom / solar)
What they need: cells plus engineering support — configuration guidance, BMS pairing advice, and documentation packages for tenders.
Distributors building private-label packs
What they need: a reliable cell supply behind their brand — plus the option to graduate to finished OEM packs.
DIY builders & small-batch buyers
What they need: small quantities (4–16 cells), fast air samples, and honest grade disclosure. The DIY segment — van builders, off-grid experimenters, repair shops — buys the same 280Ah/314Ah cells in 4-cell and 8-cell sets, often graduating to volume orders. We support sample and small-batch orders with the same QR verification and matching discipline as volume shipments.
DIY box kit builders (Seplos Mason–type kits)
What they need: 16 matched cells that actually fit the kit — same model, same batch, voltage/IR sorted. The DIY box kit market (enclosure + 16S BMS + busbars + LCD, cells supplied separately) runs on 280Ah/314Ah prismatic cells: 16S1P = 51.2V 280Ah ≈ 14.3kWh or 51.2V 314Ah ≈ 16.1kWh. We supply the 16-cell matched sets these kits are designed around — QR-verified Grade A, voltage/IR matched, single-batch — plus guidance on compression, busbar torque, and BMS settings. We sell the cells, not the kit enclosures; if you already have the box, send us the kit model and we confirm cell fit.
From Cells to Packs: the Full Chain
- Cells: this series — QR-verified Grade A 280Ah/314Ah prismatic cells, matched and documented.
- Finished batteries: our 51.2V 280Ah, 51.2V 314Ah, 12.8V 314Ah, 25.6V 314Ah, and golf cart series — built on these same cells.
- OEM/ODM packs: custom voltage, capacity, enclosure, and BMS — your specification, our supply-chain coordination.
Wholesale Terms
Cell wholesale is a specification business. Every quotation states: manufacturer, exact model number, grade, quantity, matching tolerances, test documentation included, packaging, and shipping terms. Pricing, MOQ, and lead times are confirmed per project — we do not publish inventory claims.
Lithium cells ship as Class 9 dangerous goods (UN38.3 + MSDS mandatory), typically at reduced state of charge. Sea freight from China to major markets runs 2–6 weeks; samples by air.

Looking Ahead: 392Ah and 628Ah Generations
Based on our October 2026 market research, the next cell generation is already documented:
- REPT 392Ah (RP392-CB2C): official datasheet documented (12000 cycles, 6.85kg, 75×182×224.5mm) and retail listings observed — but volume supply and project deployment remain unconfirmed. Labeled supply-pending until shipment or deployment evidence appears. 16S1P = 51.2V 392Ah ≈ 20.1kWh (theoretical configuration).
- EVE MB56 628Ah: mass production confirmed — official datasheet, retail stock worldwide, real tested capacity 670–689Ah, already deployed in a 400MWh utility project. 16S1P = 51.2V 628Ah ≈ 32.2kWh.
- REPT 588Ah: official documentation published but volume supply unconfirmed — labeled supply-pending until retail or shipment evidence appears.
- Our position: we quote only cells with confirmed supply per project — currently the 280Ah, 314Ah, and EVE MB56 628Ah generations. The 392Ah and 588Ah formats are tracked and quoted once supply evidence is confirmed.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know the cells are really Grade A?
Three checks: manufacturer QR codes with traceable data, voltage/IR test records for your specific shipment, and a specification sheet matching the exact model shipped.
280Ah or 314Ah — which should I build with?
314Ah for new designs (~12% more energy per 16S pack); 280Ah for cost-optimized builds and maximum supply certainty.
Do you match cells for 16S packs?
Yes — voltage and internal resistance matching is standard on every cell order.
Can I get a single-brand supply (e.g., only EVE)?
Yes — specify the manufacturer and model in your RFQ. No substitutions without your approval.
