LiFePO4 Battery Supplier Pakistan — Wholesale & Import Guide

Pakistan imported roughly 4.57 GWh of lithium-battery capacity in January–August 2026, according to the Pakistan Solar Association, and about 94% of it arrived as finished packs. This guide covers what Pakistani distributors and installers actually buy, the standard product series with repeat demand, and how to source LiFePO4 batteries wholesale from China via Karachi. Research date: October 2026.

Why Pakistan Buys LiFePO4 Batteries

Three forces drive Pakistan’s battery boom. First, load shedding: unreliable grid power pushes households and businesses toward solar-plus-storage as a necessity. Second, net-metered solar scale: about 6.1 GW of net-metered solar by June 2025, according to think tank Renewables First, plus a large unregistered off-grid base. Third, import momentum: about 4.57 GWh of lithium-battery imports in January–August 2026, per the Pakistan Solar Association (industry data). The Standard Series Pakistani Distributors Reorder

Series Configuration Channel Why it repeats
51.2V wall-mount storage 100Ah (5.12kWh) / 200Ah (10.24kWh) Solar distributors, installers The solarized-home standard; the 10.24kWh size is the volume SKU
12V backup batteries 12.8V 100Ah / 200Ah LiFePO4 Retail, small backup dealers Drop-in UPS replacement; highest unit turnover
C&I peak-shaving packs 51.2V parallel banks, 20–100kWh Textiles, cement, commercial Second wave — factories cutting peak-demand charges

51.2V wall-mount — the solar-home series

The 10.24kWh (200Ah) unit is the sweet spot for a family home’s evening load. See our 51.2V 200Ah (10.24kWh) page and 51.2V battery series.

12V 100/200Ah — the backup series

Replace lead-acid UPS banks directly — every load-shedding season refreshes demand. See our 12V battery series.

C&I peak-shaving — the second wave

Battery banks of 20–100kWh charged off-peak and discharged at peak cut electricity bills with paybacks measured in a few years. Sized per project.

Importing to Pakistan: Karachi Routes and Realities

  • Gateway: Karachi (Port Qasim / Karachi Port); Lahore and Islamabad distribute inland.
  • Documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin — plus UN38.3 and MSDS for lithium batteries.
  • DG cargo: Class 9 dangerous goods — book DG-accepting carriers.
  • Currency: rupee/dollar moves swing landed costs — distributors value stable FOB pricing.

Customs Valuation and Standards: What Your Specification Decides

In Pakistan, the specification sheet is a customs document. Under Valuation Ruling No. 2062/2026 (Directorate General of Customs Valuation, Karachi, 6 April 2026), customs do not assess a storage battery on its invoice alone: the ruling fixes C&F values per kilogram and per kilowatt-hour, by enclosure IP rating and brand tier, and customs assess whichever basis is higher. For the series sold into Pakistan, the assessed values run from USD 80/kWh (IP20, other brands) through USD 82.75/kWh (IP21) and USD 95/kWh (IP65), with Tier-1 brands assessed up to USD 109/kWh. Prismatic LFP cells carry their own value of USD 7.00/kg under Ruling No. 2061/2026. A declared invoice value below the ruling value is assessed up to the ruling value, not accepted as declared — and if the invoice is higher, the higher value applies.

Two specification details move the assessment. First, the IP rating: the same 5.12 kWh pack is assessed differently as an IP20 rack unit than as an IP65 wall-mount, so the rating printed on the datasheet, invoice, packing list and label must be the rating the enclosure was actually built to. Second, connectivity: the ruling adds 80% to the assessed value of batteries with 4G/5G functionality. A BMS with WiFi or Bluetooth monitoring is not a 4G/5G device — but only if the documents say so precisely. Vague wording such as “smart connected battery” invites the addition.

On standards: the PSQCA mandatory list we checked covers secondary lithium cells and batteries for portable applications (PS: IEC 61960-3). We found no stationary-storage battery standard on that list, and whether a 51.2V stationary unit requires PSQCA registration is not answered by it — confirm with PSQCA or your customs broker before shipment. This page makes no PSQCA or certificate claim; which test reports exist for a given model, and who holds them, is stated per model in the quotation.

Our ruling-by-ruling breakdown, including duty concessions and the superseded 2025 table, is in the Pakistan import, customs valuation and PSQCA guide.

Specification wording to require on every quotation, datasheet and invoice for Pakistan:

  • Product line: “LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery pack” — chemistry named, PCT 8507.6000.
  • Rated energy in kWh next to Ah: e.g. “51.2V 100Ah — 5.12 kWh”, so the per-kWh assessment basis can be checked without conversion disputes.
  • Net weight per unit in kg — the per-kg assessment basis.
  • Enclosure rating as one identical line on datasheet, invoice, packing list and label: e.g. “Enclosure protection rating: IP20 (indoor rack)” — or IP65 where that is the tested rating.
  • Connectivity stated exactly: e.g. “Communication: CAN / RS485. Monitoring: WiFi / Bluetooth only. No 4G/5G radio fitted.” (adjusted to the actual build).
  • Brand name exactly as it will be declared in the Goods Declaration — brand tier is a valuation column.

Send your model, IP rating and volume for a documents check — we return the datasheet wording, weight and kWh figures your broker needs for the Goods Declaration.
