24V 200Ah LiFePO4 Battery
Product Images

Product Overview
A 5.12kWh LiFePO4 battery (25.6V 200Ah) — the bigger brother of our 24V 100Ah model, built for larger RV and caravan systems, off-grid cabins and 2–5kW solar installations. At 24V, the same power flows at half the current of a 12V system, which means thinner cables, lower losses and easier inverter matching — while 200Ah packs a full 5.12kWh into a single unit instead of paralleling smaller batteries.
For installers and RV outfitters, one 200Ah battery replaces two 100Ah units in parallel: fewer connections to torque, cleaner wiring, and no current-sharing imbalance between parallel strings. As a China-based LiFePO4 battery supplier and OEM/ODM coordination partner, LJY Energy works with qualified manufacturing partners to configure capacity, BMS features, communication and branding to your market requirements. (Need a smaller 24V option? See our 24V 100Ah model.) Prefer a solar-first build? See this same battery presented for solar & off-grid systems.

Why 24V 200Ah
The case for a single 200Ah unit at 24V is about installation simplicity: one battery delivering 5.12kWh means one set of terminals, one cable run, and no parallel-string balancing concerns. Two 100Ah batteries in parallel give roughly the same capacity but double the connections and introduce current-sharing variables that installers must manage. The trade-off is handling — a single 200Ah unit is heavier and bulkier, which matters for mobile installs with tight access or weight limits.
And when should you step up to 48V instead? Above roughly 5kW of continuous load — or wherever long cable runs make even 24V currents impractical — 48V halves the current again and is the usual choice for larger residential and commercial storage. For everything in the mid-size band, 24V 200Ah sits at the practical optimum: serious capacity without 48V component costs.
Charging & Compatibility
Typical charge profile: bulk/absorption at 28.4–29.2V, then termination — LiFePO4 needs no float stage. Scale the 12V setpoints in our charging voltage reference by ×2, and see the complete charging guide for CC/CV operation.
- Solar / MPPT: program absorption to 28.4–29.2V; disable equalization (a lead-acid routine incompatible with lithium). Cross-check your setpoints against the voltage chart before commissioning.
- 24V inverters: confirm the inverter’s battery voltage window covers 25.6V nominal, and size continuous output to the load — a 3kW inverter draws roughly 120A from a 24V bank at full load. RS485 communication is available as an option for compatible models.
- Upgrading from 12V: a 24V system needs a 24V inverter and 24V solar configuration — the battery alone does not convert an existing 12V system. Plan the full system voltage at the design stage.
- AC charging: use a 24V LiFePO4-profile charger sized to the 200Ah bank (a 40A charger refills a depleted bank in roughly five to six hours); a 12V charger (even lithium-profile) cannot charge a 24V battery.
If the battery ever refuses to charge, work through our troubleshooting guide before assuming a fault.
Battery Lifespan
Cycle aging and calendar aging together determine real life. Typical reference for quality LiFePO4 cells: around 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge (25°C, to 80% capacity retention) at cell level — pack results depend on BMS, thermal design and usage. Running daily at 80% DoD roughly doubles cycle life versus 100% DoD while sacrificing only 20% of per-cycle capacity; on a 5.12kWh unit, that means treating about 4.1kWh as the daily working capacity for maximum longevity. Our DoD vs cycle life guide explains the throughput economics, and should you charge to 100% covers the practical charge strategy.

Sizing & Selection
One 5.12kWh unit covers a full-time RV or caravan — fridge, lighting, fans, laptops, water pump, plus occasional inverter loads — or a small off-grid cabin on a 2–3kW inverter. Two units in parallel (10.24kWh) support 3–5kW inverters for workshops, larger cabins and serious backup duty. Size from daily kWh throughput and autonomy days: a 5.12kWh bank used at 80% DoD delivers about 4.1kWh per day. Installers: match the solar array voltage to a 24V MPPT controller and confirm the inverter’s surge rating against the customer’s peak loads at the quoting stage. For the full method behind these sizing decisions, see our RV battery selection guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I buy one 24V 200Ah or two 24V 100Ah in parallel?
One 200Ah unit is simpler: a single set of connections, no current-sharing imbalance between parallel strings, and a cleaner install. Two 100Ah units only win when you need redundancy (one can keep the system running if the other is down) or when a single 200Ah unit is too heavy or bulky to handle. Usable capacity is roughly the same either way.
What size inverter should I pair with it?
A 24V inverter whose battery voltage window covers 25.6V nominal, with continuous output sized to the loads — 3kW is typical for a 5.12kWh bank. Check the inverter’s surge rating against motor and compressor starts, and confirm the datasheet voltage range before ordering.
Can I connect two units in series for 48V?
Series expansion (2S for 48V) is supported subject to configuration. Confirm the maximum series count and BMS requirements for your order before designing the system.
What charging voltage should I set?
Typical bulk/absorption is 28.4–29.2V for the 8S system, with no float stage. See our charging voltage chart (12V values ×2) for the full reference.
How long will it last?
Lifespan depends on depth of discharge, temperature and usage pattern. Quality LiFePO4 cells are typically rated around 6,000 cycles at 80% DoD (cell level); real pack life varies. Our lifespan guide explains the key variables.
Can I get this with my own brand?
Yes. We coordinate OEM branding (enclosure, logo, labeling, packaging) and ODM configuration through our manufacturing partners. Contact us with your target specs.
