Product Overview

A 2560Wh LiFePO4 battery (12.8V 200Ah) in a rugged steel case with a built-in LCD display — a single-battery power core for RV electrical systems, off-grid cabins and marine house banks. The standout is the 250A built-in BMS: at 12.8V that is roughly 3.2kW of continuous discharge capability, enough to drive 2–3kW inverters that would trip the 100A or 200A protection boards common on commodity 12V 200Ah packs. The LCD keeps state of charge visible at a glance, so owners and installers can check the battery without opening an app or reaching for a meter.

For RV builders, solar installers and mobile power brands, 12V remains the drop-in standard: every 12V inverter, charger and solar controller on the market works with it, with no system redesign. As a China-based LiFePO4 battery supplier and OEM/ODM solutions provider, LJY Energy configures capacity, BMS features, communication and branding to your market requirements. Why 12V 200Ah

The case for this capacity class is practical: one battery, roughly 2.56kWh, replaces two 12V 100Ah units in parallel — fewer cables, fewer connection points, less installation time. At 12V it drops into any existing 12V system (RV, boat, backup) as a direct lead-acid replacement, and the 250A BMS is the real differentiator: it sustains ~3.2kW continuous, so a 2000W or 3000W inverter runs without nuisance trips that plague commodity 100A-BMS packs. The steel case survives the vibration and knocks of mobile installations, and the LCD answers the two questions every owner asks — how full is it, and is it healthy — without an app or a Bluetooth pairing. Our LiFePO4 vs lead-acid comparison covers the chemistry economics behind the switch.

Charging & Compatibility

Typical charge profile: bulk/absorption at 14.2–14.6V, then termination — LiFePO4 needs no float stage. Use the 12V setpoints in our charging voltage reference directly, and see the complete charging guide for CC/CV operation.

  • Solar / MPPT: program absorption to 14.2–14.6V; disable equalization (a lead-acid routine incompatible with lithium).
  • 12V inverters: confirm the inverter’s battery voltage window covers 12.8V nominal; the 250A BMS supports inverters up to roughly 3kW continuous — check the inverter’s surge rating against peak loads.
  • Upgrading from lead-acid: this is a drop-in 12V replacement electrically, but retire any equalization or desulfation routines in your charger settings.
  • AC charging: use a 12V LiFePO4-profile charger; a lead-acid charger with aggressive equalization is not suitable.

If the battery ever refuses to charge, work through our troubleshooting guide before assuming a fault.

Battery Lifespan

Cycle aging and calendar aging together determine real life. Typical reference for quality LiFePO4 cells: around 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge (25°C, to 80% capacity retention) at cell level — pack results depend on BMS, thermal design and usage. Running daily at 80% DoD roughly doubles cycle life versus 100% DoD while sacrificing only 20% of per-cycle capacity. Our DoD vs cycle life guide explains the throughput economics, and should you charge to 100% covers the practical charge strategy.

Sizing & Selection

One 2560Wh unit suits RV power systems (fridge, lights, water pump, fans, device charging for 1–2 days off-grid) and small off-grid cabins; two units in parallel give about 5.12kWh for larger house banks and 3kW-class inverter loads. The 250A BMS means a single battery already handles high-draw appliances (air conditioner startup, microwave) that would trip a 100A pack — size from your inverter’s continuous rating first, daily kWh second. Installers: confirm cable and fuse sizing for 250A-class currents at the quoting stage, and check the LCD during commissioning to verify the state of charge reading matches the installation’s expected capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the LCD display show?

State of charge and battery status at a glance — owners and installers can check the battery without opening an app or reaching for a meter.

Is the 250A BMS enough for my inverter?

At 12.8V, 250A supports roughly 3.2kW continuous, which covers most 12V inverters up to ~3kW. Confirm your inverter’s continuous and surge ratings against this figure at the design stage.

Can I parallel two units for more capacity?

Yes — parallel expansion gives larger banks (two units ≈ 5.12kWh). Series connection (4S for 48V) is supported subject to configuration; confirm the maximum series count for your order.

What charger do I need?

A 12V LiFePO4-profile charger with bulk/absorption at 14.2–14.6V, or a solar MPPT controller programmed to the same setpoints. See our charging guide for details.

How long will it last?

Lifespan depends on depth of discharge, temperature and usage pattern. Quality LiFePO4 cells are typically rated around 6,000 cycles at 80% DoD (cell level); real pack life varies. Our lifespan guide explains the key variables.

Can I get this with my own brand?

Yes. We support OEM branding (enclosure, logo, labeling, packaging) and ODM configuration, confirmed per project. Contact us with your target specs.
