Why Estonia buys LiFePO4 (thin market, real words)
Macro (low institutional friction, strong digital administration) explains why inbound RFQs clear — it does not by itself prove a SKU. Live Estonian shop language shows a small but clear leisure pattern:
- Paat — boat service / house banks; weight and deep-cycle use drive AGM → LiFePO4 upgrades; electric boat-motor packs appear in local catalogues.
- Suvila — summer-house / cabin power (often seasonal or weakly grid-tied). Buyers size for lights, charging, fridge and occasional inverter weekends; winter can leave the cabin cold for weeks.
- Matkaauto and haagissuvila — motorhome vs towable caravan; Estonian shops sell liitiumakud into both, often with under-seat form factors. Do not RFQ as generic “RV”.
- Soojendusega / cold charge — heated packs are sold so charging can continue in frost; “cold protection” may mean charge-inhibit or self-heat — the written quote must say which.

Estonia is in the EU: CE marking and EU battery-regulation documentation apply to the specific model, not “the whole catalogue”. We do not claim blanket certification on this page. Before deposit, agree in writing at least: UN38.3 transport summary, commercial invoice / packing list with model numbers, and what your freight forwarder needs. Fixed electrical installs belong to a qualified electrician — their document list is part of the purchase.

FAQ
How large an aku for a suvila? A load and season calculation, not a catalogue size: daily kWh, dark days, generator or not. A small 12 V cabin ≠ a whole-house 48 V system.
Can LiFePO4 charge in frost? Only if that model allows it (e.g. soojendusega / self-heat) or the pack is warmed first. Charge-inhibit alone does not make a frozen pack chargeable.
Matkaauto or haagissuvila — same pack? Both often use 12 V house banks, but mounting, DC-DC and solar must be sized per vehicle. State which one in the RFQ.
Do you publish prices or MOQ? No. Confirmed only in a written quotation.
